We are a proud member of the Red Deer Chamber of Commerce a very active and progressive chamber located in Red Deer Alberta Canada.

We attended one of their functions, Business After Hours, out at the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame and Museum on Tuesday night. I shot some video and I’ll post it as soon as I get the clearance from the folks involved. This was the first time I’ve been to the Sports Hall of Fame and it’s a great place to visit. If you are ever in the area, check it out! Thanks to Donna Hateley, the Managing Director who coached me on the interactive down-hill ski machine. The great thing about this display was when I ran into trees, it didn’t hurt anything but my pride.

The Business After Hours event is held monthly at various locations in Red Deer and it is open to the public and businesses in the area. There is a mini-trade-show, great food and lots of networking. I chatted with folks I haven’t seen for years and met some new folks as well. The next Business After Hours is November 27 out at Parkland Nurseries and Garden Centre. If you see me there, stop and say hello.
